we're moving house! amidst all the chaos, i have managed to create this:

winter peach.
the contrast between the iciness of the green turqouise and the warmth of the peach rose creates a stunningly beautiful unique necklace. the focal point of this piece is the peach rose which is to be worn slightly off-center. surrounding it are lovely green turquoise wire-wrapped beads in gold designer wire. it closes with a gold lobster clasp.
the necklace measures roughly 44cms (17.3inches) from end to end and has a 9cm (3.5inch) extension chain, for when you want to wear it longer.

this necklace features an antiqued bronze leaf, to be worn slightly off center. surrounding it are beads of various brown/coppery/bronze shades and sizes: four copper faceted glass beads, three carnelian round beads, one latte small glass pearl, one bronze large glass pearl, one latte large glass pearl, three bronze medium glass pearls (one of which has two bronze bead caps on each end), and one citrine coloured teardrop glass bead with a bead cap. all delicately wire-wrapped and hanging from an antiqued bronze chain, secured by a gold toggle clasp.

this piece will remind you of the tropics, of sweet-smelling flowers and being carefree. this unique lariat-style necklace is made of a very delicate and dainty silver chain. on one end of the necklace is a floral toggle clasp. a single hibiscus is suspended on a silver loop, and this will sit on the side of your neck when worn. on the other end of the chain is a cascade of various shades of pink czech glass crystals, swarovski crystals, rose quartz, opal flower, and a pink glass pearl. you will also find a single lime green czech glass crackle in this cascade to add interest to the piece. this also represents the green of the tropics.

etsy lesson #2: don't accept international money orders.
i did the mistake of agreeing to accept an international money order for $20, the item value was $17 and i charged $3 for shipping and handling. i went to the bank this morning to deposit the money order, only to find out that there is a $10 bank fee! after converting USD to AUD, i got $21.01 for the money order less the bank's fee, i just received $11.01 after selling a $17 item. not fair. *sniffs*
